The feeling of being stuck in a rut lasts a while. It’s not a day or two thing. It’s days and weeks, and maybe months. And it feels much longer than it actually was when you look back after you are out.
Can’t stick to your meal plans? No motivation to eat, cook, or shop? Nothing seems to be going anywhere? Everyone else seems to be moving on with their lives while you are “stuck”?
It comes and goes, especially when it’s related to depression and anxiety. It’s not your first, it’s not your last. I’d love to tell you it’s the very last one.
Hang in there.
You've been here before.
It will pass again
Hanging in there day after day is your daily achievement.
Let your support system help you patch through another day. Make sure that it’s the support people YOU choose, not ones who claim to be yours.
You are enough.
It will pass.
